- Description
The pine grosbeak is best observed in the winter when the male’s deep red plumage contrasts sharply and seasonally with the white of the snow and the green of the pine trees into which he makes his home. He appears to be one of the tamer birds as he will remain hidden in his spot in the tree when approached rather than flurrying off in fear. Perhaps we could learn a lesson from him by facing life’s challenges rather than frantically fleeing from them.
Trimmed with a burgundy ribbon, each ornament is ready for hanging on a tree or in a window. It comes packaged in a burgundy gift envelope that is convenient for gift giving. Begin a collecting tradition that will be treasured by generations.
